In celebration of Women’s Month, EssOil took a meaningful journey back to where it all
begins, the fields of Kayonza.
Surrounded by the very land that nurtures our essential oils, we gathered to honor the
incredible women who are at the heart of everything we do. These women are more
than cultivators; they are the backbone of EssOil, the foundation of our growth, and the
spirit behind our mission.
In fact, over 80% of the workforce at our Kayonza farm are women, a powerful
reflection of the role they play in shaping not only our products, but our story.

Where It All Begins
Every bottle of essential oil produced by Ess Oil carries a story, a story of early mornings,
strength, and unwavering commitment.
At our Kayonza farm, women play a central role in cultivating, nurturing, and harvesting
the plants that make our products possible. Their dedication is what ensures the quality
and purity that Ess Oil stands for.
This Women’s Month, we wanted to pause and say something simple, yet deeply
meaningful: we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you.
A Day of Appreciation

The day was filled with joy, laughter, and genuine connection.
We came together not just as a company and its workers, but as a community. Through
shared conversations tokens of appreciation and recognition, we created an
atmosphere that truly reflected the values EssOil stands for.
Special recognition and reward was also given to:
● Outstanding performers
● Women who have been part of the journey since the very beginning
Their commitment and resilience continue to inspire us every single day.
Women at the Heart of EssOil
At EssOil, empowering women is not just something we celebrate once a year, it is part
of who we are.
The women we work with are leaders in their communities, providers for their families,
and key drivers of sustainable agriculture in Rwanda. Their impact goes far beyond the
farm; it reaches homes, communities, and future generations.
By supporting these women, we are not only growing essential oils, we are growing
opportunities, dignity, and lasting change.

Looking Ahead
As we celebrate Women’s Month, we are reminded that appreciation should not be
seasonal, it should be continuous.
EssOil remains committed to:
● Supporting women in agriculture
● Creating opportunities for growth and leadership
● Building a future where their contributions are recognized and valued every day

A Message from EssOil
To the women of Kayonza and all those who are part of this journey:
Thank you for your strength. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for being the
heart of EssOil.
